NCAA D-III Championship @ Ridder - Going for the Dunning Double..Roll Call!!

Re: NCAA D-III Championship @ Ridder - Going for the Dunning Double..Roll Call!!

Or, should by chance Oswego lose, it could be like last year as all the Oswego fans went home right away.
Not all of us...although the arena was a bit more roomy the second day...;)

DIII Ice Hockey Championship Visitors Guide

This is a collection of information for fans regarding how to purchase tickets, where to park, where to eat and what sights to see while in town. We hope the eastern fans throughly enjoy their time in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Re: NCAA D-III Championship @ Ridder - Going for the Dunning Double..Roll Call!!

As stated, 50 tickets were sent to each school. SNC rec'd 50 reserved bench tickets in Section 12 (first 3 rows or so). The remaining seats are a reserved chair back seats and many of those are still available. Then Ridder sent 200 additional tickets to each school. SNC got all of section 11, and those tickets are only available through the SNC website ticket office, or by calling the ticket office.

I would assume this took place for all schools using the same format for each of the corners. Just guessing... Hope that helps.

Western NY - east side of Rochester. 1000 miles of glory, mj. Are you driving out?

As for the "warzone" developing in "sector" 12, we Laker fans will only be whooping it up for the matches our guys play in.

I'm with you GBgal. I want to see some decent hockey, and watching through the mesh is not desirable. So, we went with the logical spot...mid ice.

Just got mine, and I will be right behind you in Row 6, Ranger! I am flying in from NYC Friday morning. We will have to get together before the game somewhere.

Re: NCAA D-III Championship @ Ridder - Going for the Dunning Double..Roll Call!!

As much as I complained in the past about the troubles of getting to Lake Placid from the wisconsin I think I'm going to miss it not being there this year. From a fan point of view, alot of the fun came away from Brooks Arena. Meeting opposing fans and other SNC fans on the streets was always a blast. Other than at Ridder I think its gonna be rare to run into anothet Dlll fan on the streets.

Ahem! This Oswego fan stayed and watched the best championship game in D-III history. Unfortunately I'm not going, but I've been told if you haven't bought tix yet, call the box office and ask for tix in the Oswego St. section. Of course, I have no idea what section that is. Hopefully it's section 12 where everyone else will be! :D

Please refer to the map referenced noted in BlueDevilRadio's post.

Note the name of the neighborhood north of the railroad tracks (NORTH, not West!). Omen!!

In addition the parking is east (CCCP ;)) of the arena. Stretching it a little.

Per SNC's website tonight, regarding the additional 200 tickets set aside for St. Norbert fans:

Error Report
No games are available. This could be due to either no seats remaining or else the game was taken off sale.
Please check the box office for more information.

Just as an aside... has anyone noticed that the men are playing at the Ridder, and the women are playing at the Ritter? It was a little confusing for me at first, but I'm used to it now.

Re: NCAA D-III Championship @ Ridder - Going for the Dunning Double..Roll Call!!

I'm really upset that I'm not going, so here's a question for others that might be in the know.

I know last year the championship game was televised on CBS College Sports. Anyone know if that's the case this year? I looked up their TV schedule and all it shows for that weekend is wall to wall basketball.

But they WILL be showing a replay of the D-I ECAC championship game...about 6 times

I know the NCAA will stream the games, but are you sure about the final?

This is their listed TV schedule for the 26th:
