Just saw on the Manhattanville website they have a radio broadcast with the guy who was the goalie from the Phoenix Coyotes Tom Fenton...

Goes from getting a haircut to the NHL... to D3 women's hockey radio, the life of a retired NHL'er.

He was on the call last week too for the Manhattanville women's games at Northfield.

The seniors' revenge for 2008 OT loss in qtrs

Norwich over at Midd watching/waiting...rusting or lusting?

This feels like a trap game to me, as a Tigers fan, especially since we beat Adrian twice already. The Plattsburgh game was different; those two previous games were ties and beating Plattsburgh is such a rare feat.

The women's D-III playoffs kick off this weekend with three games, while top-seed Norwich waits to see who they will play in the semis. Derek Dunning previews the action.

Gosh I hope Derek doesn't write these "teaser" headlines. I don't think Norwich is the top seed yet until RIT loses to Adrian (since RF just lost to the Gusties). Don't jinx them DD.

Ouch, yes...Mr. Fenton did not improve in his time in the minors.

Predicting RIT hosts:
Predicting Midd over an overconfident RIT
Predicting Gusties over a rusty Norwich
Predicting fans PO'd because no video appears for semis or final
NCAA offers alternative 1-800 voice recognition play-by-play (say "stack" or press "17" for current status, say "dagg" or press 21 for present location and puck possession...)

Oh, yes and Gusties take it home for the first time to the West in final (unless Bloom steals game with yet another shutout)

Look, Mania, all will be forgiven -- win/lose if you can just provide a pep band. It's not March hockey without a band (marching optional) -- sadly Midd's pep band is a capella and doesn't travel well after yelling for the home team, but we understand you got the brass to deliver

..we will even forget about that "no video" disgrace (which I hope you can get fixed as it will memorialize the Corner Crew as well as the players and games) if you can provide the music (btw, the NCAA doesn't allow horns, but they allow bands -- go figure -- how can they regulate syncopation? air horns -- no, cow bells -- no, trumpets - yes, cymbals - si
