Re: National Semi-Final: Minnesota vs. North Dakota

I'm thinking that oneness and aura wasn't seen or felt by Native Americans or the NCAA.
Two very different stories, one tragic, shameful, and complex; the other little more than a money game.

I hope this doesn't become an exercise in self righteousness.

Well, you're right about the money game.

UND had no qualms about capitulating to Ralph Englestad and his piles of money, did they.

Are you mad that ND's nazi sympathizer was wealthy and bought a new arena as opposed to the cheap sympathizers in Minneapolis that could only afford to rent out Gastof's?

Don't go there, cross cheque. Go4 isn't engaging in banter. Let it go.

Re: National Semi-Final: Minnesota vs. North Dakota

Speaking of Parise, he was on the side of a cheap shot by some Hawks clown.

Yeah I'm watching the game and saw the hit, Bollig kept his elbow tucked but hit him square in the upper back and lower head and no penalty was called. A hit from behind is still a hit from behind in open ice.

I agree. Sometimes I wonder if some of the pro games are "rigged".

Gopher fan and Sioux fan agreeing (whining in unison :p )about the same perceived "cheap" shot?

Can the end be far away?

:D

Well we are smart because the Wild have the greatest fans in the whole wide world! Xcel Energy Center told me that.

Without question.

Haula with a vicious two handed tomahawk chop to the achilles of Sharp. Sharp turns to say "Please refrain from doing that again" and Haula cross checks him in the sternum. Goon squad.

That's how I saw it. :p:D

Well, Parise made it through his shootout attempt without diving again.

Not having a pro team in the state, which pro team are North Dakota fans most likely to support? Just a thought, sorry to interrupt.

Was the North Stars, then Winnipeg Jets. Now for some reason I like the Detoilet Red Wings.
