I wouldn't be too worried about them. The styrofoam stuff inside the safer wall thing is all still intact, that stuff would melt right away. The heat must have been far enough way.

The only NASCAR turn you could cut out using the infield course is turn 1, and at that, the sports car course (which is the only one that can be used without blocking off the main tunnel into/out of the track) comes back onto the track pretty close to where it goes off.
