oh my god, why does every thread involving even one of your teams turn into a ****ing match? I hope we sweep just so you 2 can shut the F up.

No $hi+. Makes me wonder why in god's good green earth a person would jump into a thread that doesn't even involve his/her team, a team that can't even make the playoffs in today's version of the WCHA. I guess they have nothing better to do after they couldn't keep ahead of a mediocre team like Alaaka in spite of having points and games in hand late in the season.

Tech's a good team. I hope they go on to beat Mankato if it comes to that.

You think I need to grow up? Seriously? I have never used ignore on this thing ever, and I shouldn't have to now because you feel the need to come in here and **** on your arch rival. Your season is over, go golfing or something. Your season is over, give it a rest.

I'm gonna give a blanket apology for the UAA fanbase. Apparently many idiot pills have been swallowed among them. Please just ignore them. Again, I apologize.

It wasn't for a lack of competing. Both teams let up after it was 6-1 but the 'Nooks were--to put it bluntly--manhandled.

The guys have to dig deep and get after it tonight. I'll say it straight up, aside from Tyler our guys aren't going to out-skill the Huskies. Gotta out work 'em. Want it more.

They will have to muck it up to change the style of the game and to do so without getting overly penalized.

Hate to say it but last night was our season. Our best chance at winning this series, IMO, was to steal game 1 and put Tech on their heels. I don't see us beating them twice in a row. Hopefully we man up tonight and make it respectable.

I’m not sure manhandled is the right term, but the Nooks were totally outclassed in every aspect of Friday’s game by the Huskies. The Nooks were physical enough, and generally played hard, but just aren’t a skilled team, especially in the D zone. They played like they were afraid to make a mistake and collapsed back in the zone and on their heels. We had no chance for loose pucks. We really struggled to make good passes, had a hard time starting any offensive transition, and focused too much on poke checking and watching the puck instead of playing the man. The number of times we iced the puck with no chance for any Nook to even touch up was telling. The Huskies are a good team, played well, and the hockey gods were also smiling on them. We’ll see if any of that changes in today’s game.
