Based upon the "stretch run", I am happy we are in and not out....but consider this - 60 miles separate The Cooler from the Murano Campus Center...at the moment there is no confirmation for tickets - just rumors that a total of 1,000 tickets will go on sale 1.5 hrs before game time....compared to 3,000 capacity with online purchasing days in advance...nice press box at The Cooler, but no ethernet, internet or fishnet - allegedly... The Campus Center is home to stellar broadcast facilities and Pros With GPAs who put on a great show...right now we have LiveStats on the menu from Hobart...my guess is WNYO will use cellphones if they have to... Both have indoor plumbing - allegedly. How did the NC$$ "let" this happen? A reduction of potential T Shirt sales by two-thirds??? Oh, the humanity!

As a former oswego player, I would much rather have a team from out west win it all if we didnt. How can anybody in their right mind root for their hated rivals? Back in the late 80's we NEVER would root for Plattsburgh as they would never root for us. We hated each other that much. 2 of the years that we played we had brawls in the locker rooms,1 between periods and the other after a game. Respect their talent but HATE the sweater. What do you think backdraft?

NCAA doesn't care about Division 3 as there is no money in it. Arbitrary rankings, smoke filled room and watching transportation costs. That is why we will play in a municipal rink.

I am sure the players wouldn't care right now if they were playing on a pond rink. I think the majority of them thought they were done after Saturday night. I know how you feel though. A few years back Plattsburgh had to go to Amherst in the first round and most fans could not figure out why.

Still can't believe Potsdam didn't get in, we beat Canton, Oswego, Geneseo, and the list goes on and on. Maybe the committee thought it wouldn't be fair to the rest of the teams if Potsdam got in. Maybe the Bears should schedule RIT and then we would have someone to blame.

You don't even need to list them all out.

In one game, one game this Saturday, Potsdam beat BOTH teams.

Potsdam - 5, Hobart - 4
Potsdam - 4, Oswego - 2

End of discussion. None of those teams deserve to be playing in Geneva. Both should forfeit immediately and Potsdam should be sent straight to Adrian.

I dare anyone try to argue that logic.

Potsdam beat Oswego who beat Plattsburgh who beat Norwich (who beat Plymouth State) and who beat UMass Boston who beat Trinity who beat Amherst. And Potsdam beat Hobart who beat Nichols. That's all eight eastern teams down in two sentences!

A) It's close to my house. Why should I travel for this?
B) The game will obviously be the hottest ticket in D3, ensuring a sellout even in the Blue Cross Arena.

Gotta agree,there was no love lost,the only game i ever got suspended from was vs the birds,for an alleged face wash type thing,or punch who knows..back in those days after every whistle near the crease/net there was a small brawl of sorts,stickwork,jawing,etc,it seems like there was a lot more animosity between the teams back then,now-a-days there is little of that,for good or bad,but those scuffles were fun:eek:....as far as rooting for Platty not really,if they did win it would look good for the SUNYAC.Yes there was respect btwn teams as well.

not to up to date with live stats,do they have video or just stats,or is it payper view,and if so is it any good??
