Conditioning is playing a role here, and the bruins seem to have an edge here. The hawks spent a lot of energy sending 4 guys below the faceoffs to generate offense in the first few minutes. This seemed to have paid off until they started getting beat to pucks - case and point was the goal the bruins got. Saads fall was one of fatigue. One could see the ice tilting towards chicago's end as the period wore on.

Sometimes I think he goes looking for some of these fabrics by looking at couches at Great Aunt Edna's estate sale :eek:

Not a good period there... Need to get our heads squared away and start over in the 2nd... We had the edge to start... Just got to regain it...
