Part of the fallout from the loss in Colorado Springs is a one-game suspension of UMD junior defenseman Chad Huttel of Hermantown. He was given minor penalties for instigating and roughing, and a 10-minute game misconduct, all with four minutes to play, which meant he was to leave the game. Huttel left the ice, yet had a confrontation with rink officials before reaching the locker room, which led to a review of the situation and the suspension, handed down by UMD. He’ll miss Friday’s home game with Michigan Tech. WCHA commissioner Bruce McLeod said there would be no further sanction from the league.

“The suspension is for unsportsmanlike conduct. We have expectations for our student-athletes that they conduct themselves in a positive way,” UMD athletic director Bob Nielson said Wednesday. “But sometimes, in the heat of a game, there can be poor judgment, and for Chad, that was the case Saturday.”

Coach Scott Sandelin said he agrees with the sanction: “Chad made a bad decision and that’s the consequence.”

Insulting the Bulldogs isn't what what got the Monster banned from the PB. It was a rather casual reminder that the Beavers made the Frozen 4 last spring while UMD came up short in making the Frozen Four in was was pretty much a home game for them when it was official that BSU was getting into the WCHA. That seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back with DHG I believe. The Monster suspects that DHG must have been nagging at him that day as well, maybe making DHG go antiquing with her that day, and he needed something to make himself feel better.

tbigblue is so wrong. Thorogood, SRV, Bo Diddley, etc. Nothing like tblues to drink to.

As for country music, anything after George Jones is tsuck. And even then....

And tBrenthoven thought tinfamous couple was known as tBiddlyn? If any of tposters read tcomic strip "Zits," there's a couple named RichandAmy*. tBrenthoven thinks this comic portrayal is extremely accurate in describing tBiddlyn.

*From wiki: "Richandamy", as their classmates have nicknamed them, are boyfriend and girlfriend Rich and Amy who are generally seen in a constant, intertwined hug. One is rarely seen without the other, though their embrace does not go so far as to require both to enter tsame rest room. Their embrace is fodder for much disgust and many cynical comments from tother characters.

Combining names like that is quite possibly the dumbest thing in the world. Way to emmulate MTV Brent...yeah, I said it, you're no better then MTV.
