Geez, give my stomach a moment to adjust. For the record, not ALL Sioux women look like they work in the oil patch, fracking their way to the middle class, just the ones that I see on TV, smiling toothlessly from behind the benches, etc.
FWIW, I think that same group has had those seats for the past few years.

Definitely. Tech outplayed Denver in the first, and wind up tied through 20. DU needs to get their act together in the 2nd...they look like they don't really care.

They could also be pooped. That series with Bucky was brutal. Thursday afternoon game following a Sunday game.

I love Wells Fargo advertising how "generous" their "team" is in "volunteering" for non profits. Right. Who is it, exactly, who declines to "volunteer" his time when the gruppenfuhrer drops by his cubicle with the preprinted schedule of when he's "volunteering?"

Good point. It always kind of, err really, rubs me the wrong way when people make assumptions and/or accusations into a team's level of "caring". I suppose it's easy to level careless statements...however, the guys always care. I still have never experienced a situation where DU is pumped after a loss, exclaiming, "Who cares? We don't, because we don't give a chit!".

First cousin to that phenomenon is the "is it in our best interest to win the conference" discussion. Don't we just play 'em one at a time (sorry for the cliche) and let the chips fall where they may (excuse me again)?

DU should care more in the 2nd than they did in the 1st otherwise it may not end the way that the DU fans want it too. Michigan Tech wants it more than DU right now...say what you want about "caring"...
If DU is tired in the first period, they stand absolutely zero chance of winning this game unless Jussi stands on his head.
