Msu @ Uaa 11/20

Re: Msu @ Uaa 11/20

Reloading managed to make the video start working again, but it's still pretty blocky. Whatever economy class internet I have has download speeds capped at around 128KBps.

Re: Msu @ Uaa 11/20

Well, unless this goes to ****, at least I'll get to watch the 3rd, hehe. Sometimes being a computer technician causes one to over think the "problem." After updating RealPlayer, I was then convinced I had a firewall problem.

Turns out, it was just the link. Needless to say, I've wasted a lot of time ****ing with electronics and not enough time watching hockey :p

Looks like UAA has made it game. How many penalties have the Mavs taken?

Re: Msu @ Uaa 11/20

Denver beats ND 1-0

Four shutouts for Chevy in 6 starts. BTW, since Patrick Wiercioh didn't play tonight for DU and isn't expected to play tomorrow night, perhaps you UAA regulars would get the word to Suze that she should probably apologize to the guy for repeatedly calling him a liar.

I fixed my video problem by using Linux. Who would think that Linux's default video player handles Real Media files infinitely better than Real Player?

And really, why would the link that says 'Click here to the watch the game' be the link you needed to actually watch the game.

I felt like MSU still controlled that period, but had the occasional breakdown(like UAA's goal). The biggest problem was that they got into their habit from last weekend of not finishing off good chances. I counted three that probably should have gone. Getting all three goals is maybe a stretch, but capitalizing on one or two would have put this game out of reach for the third.

Penalties weren't a problem. Reputations seem to matter less when we play Anchorage, since neither team's is very good.

Re: Msu @ Uaa 11/20

Just saw in the scoreboard shots are 22-12 in favor of the Mavs.

EDIT: At least the hour I spent messing with the video on my TV from my laptop paid off as this doesn't look half bad (better than my regular def channels from the cable box!).

3rd underway...
