Pretty much the only business left for me is checking out the schedule. I hope it is released soon.
I also hope it's pretty soft. I know we have Denver and North Dakota in there, though.
Yes, it's cool loading the schedule with games against premier opponents but it is less cool when you lose most of those games.
We also have Tech and Ferris at home, as well as a trip up to Sault Ste Marie.
According to the schedule thread, we still have six NC games to be filled.
WCHA teams have open slots, but they've all unveiled their schedules already.
That leaves:
HE: Northeastern (I believe we're doing the MBB, WBB, hockey triple header in EL this year), Vermont, Notre Dame, UNH, UMass, Maine, UConn, BC
ECAC: Union, Quinnipiac, Princeton, Harvard
AHC: All but RIT and Air Force.
Ind: Arizona St
Wasn't that FSU series a home-and-home or a home-and-neutral? I guess I could have been seeing things. We also have Tech and Ferris at home, as well as a trip up to Sault Ste Marie.
I admire your optimism.I honestly believe the incoming freshman class will have us at least a little excited next season. I am not optimistic they will be ready to launch this team north of .500 territory next year. I also don't think we'll see any sort of Wisconsin style fall.

I thought we were supposed to play them at Munn and Van Andel when we had them in the HoF Game, but the Van Andel game fell through.
I saw that the Golf Teams have a fabulous $5,000,000 new practice facility at Akers West. Has anyone heard of any updates concerning the re-modeling of Munn? The entrance/atrium/trophy cases etc....
The main project has been stalled for at least two years now. It's still on the Spartan Fund website, but you have to dig for it.Has anyone heard of any updates concerning the re-modeling of Munn?

We lost a bunch of key players over the offseason and I'm not as high on the incoming freshmen. I'm bracing for something near 30 losses.
After looking at the schedule and doing a little research, I am not quite as optimistic. Most of our opponents, who were already better than us, lose less from last season(with the exception of NoDak but I doubt it will matter how much they lose or retain) LSSU returns almost everyone and so does NE after one of the most impressive 2nd half turnarounds anyone has seen.
I could see us having anywhere from 1-5 wins come December and I think 5 isn't very likely.
That's ok. The nine year plan still has four years left for turnaround.
