A disappointing loss, although very impressed with how much better this team looked compared to last weekend.

MSU played a tough game and Lee was damm good in net. Typical DU/MSU game, tight all the way. The big difference was DU's big line. Adam played well in goal.

Great to see Mega Boone and all the co-eds with their Boone T's. How silly DU looks with an "authorized" but "unofficial" mascot.

Pretty good game. With all their injuries, MSU came to play. Their forecheck was brutal all night long. Murray played well. And Beau was this close to some big plays. And Lee was pretty darn good for them, too.

Very true. We took too many penalties down the stretch as well.

Tonight was Gwoz's 400th win at DU. Congrats to him!!!!!

What you might have missed, Beau Bennett had 10 shots on goal tonight.

Lee showed his experience, and MSU also played extremely solid, very smart defense. Coach says these games are always tough, and I'd be even more weary when Mankato hopefully gets healthy. DU's talent may have made the difference tonight, but dumb penalties from talented players can easily negate that (6 PIMs for #17...). Mavericks showed that if you play smart you can keep yourselves in it.

I think DU needs more appreciation for the fact that a garbage goal off rebounds is worth the same number of points as a dazzling tic-tac-toe beauty. Especially when you dig a hole, because that's when arguably less talented teams like MSU can make you pay.

That was quite a 3rd period for the stripes.
