Why all of the negativity? MSU had a worse record last season than Maine, but you don't hear all of this ripping on Comley.

After tonight's loss, Maine will be 3-20-2 in 2009. That's why.

And didn't MSU's blown season result from a string of unfortunate circumstances? That's a bit of a difference. We saw this trainwreck coming. Just like last year. And the year before.

They did suffer from a couple of almost season long injuries and a couple of suspensions lter in the season, but it was primarily from a loss of 60% of their scoring from graduation and some not so surprising early departures to the pros.

So it wasn't crappy coaching? ;)

Im really liking what I've seen of Mangene and Shemansky so far. Mangene's playing really physical tonight.

Puck ended up in the Maine goal after a massive pile up in front.
