That's hysterical.Canal+ in France is airing this promo for the Japan Grand Prix:
Was about to post this. They are very very strict with the rules at the Nurburgring. Heard he got DQ'd and figured it would've been for Code 60 violation, not tires.Max and his team win by nearly a minute at the Nurburgring, except they didn’t. Disqualified for using too many sets of tires.
Wasn't Wheatley the one who convinced Hulkenberg about the future of Audi which is why the Hulk signed there?Audi announces that Jonathan Wheatley is departing "for personal reasons," and Mattia Binotto will take over as team principle.
Rumors are Newey's step back is to make room for Wheatley to be the new Aston Martin team principal. Some think this will allow Newey to focus on fixing the Honda motor vibration problem, and others have pointed out Newey and Wheatley's Red Bull time together.
And others have no love lost for Binotto and fully expect the wheels to fall off what they felt was steps in the right direction.
I'm not fully up to speed on the lore of the last few years, but Google searching shows Audi's Seidl signed Hulkenberg in April 2024 to drive for Kick Sauber in 2025. Wheatley wasn't signed until spring 2025Wasn't Wheatley the one who convinced Hulkenberg about the future of Audi which is why the Hulk signed there?
Okay, then it was Seidl who convinced Hulkenberg. I wasn't sure. Thanks.I'm not fully up to speed on the lore of the last few years, but Google searching shows Audi's Seidl signed Hulkenberg in April 2024 to drive for Kick Sauber in 2025. Wheatley wasn't signed until spring 2025
He kicked out a journalist before the press conference even started because of a question said journalist asked post race in Abu Dhabi last year.So Max kicked a journalist out of his media session because that journalist asked him about a crash at the end of last season. A crash that did cost him enough points to lose the championship.
What a baby. Not even a child, a baby.
Max is facing the adversity of a crappy car, and is thinking of quitting.Lindblad knocks Max out in Q2, lol. World must feel like it is crashing down around him right now. Kimi might be ruining what was supposed to be George’s moment.
Loved Piastri's radio quip of "Wow! Turns out when we start these things, we're pretty good!"Nice win for Kimi- with a little luck thrown in. And McLaren seems to have fixed the biggest issues.
Fun to see LeCerc hold of Russel there at the end, too.
But the gap to the rest of the field.. wow.

Yeah, I'd really like to know how that wall failed. Though, ironically, it would soften the blow. While Bearman's overtake wreck was most of the talk this weekend, along with the Porsche Carrera Cup wreck at the same track, over in Indycar Scott McLaughlin had a pretty nasty wreck himself where his car went through the barrier wall. And he made fun of it on his social media.

Watching a couple more replays, it appears the catch fence did not have a wall under it (or a very short one if any) and the wrapped foam blocks were just set against the fencing on the ground. Probably the gentlest way to crash.Yeah, I'd really like to know how that wall failed. Though, ironically, it would soften the blow.
