Surprisingly, family reasons.
Kent played a season in the Alaska League one summer with the Anchorage Bucs. My parents were a billet family, Kent was assigned to my family (I was an infant at the time), Kent left after a week or two because he couldn’t stand the kids aka me and my brothers nor my parents.
