Twins won 2-1 tonight. They had two hits. A HR from Buxton to lead off the game, and a RBI double by Buxton in the 11th inning. 35 at bats between hits.

The White Sox (!) went above .500 on May 14, 2026. They then promptly went back to .500 the next day but then took 2 from the Cubs and are now 2 games above .500. Not counting opening day wins in 2023 and 2025 ( they then lost their next games each season and were never were better than .500 for the remainder of the season), the last time the White Sox had a winning record was October 4, 2022. They were 81-80. They then lost their final game of season to finish 81-81.
They were 76-71 on 9/18/22 only to lose their next 8 and go 5-10 to finish the season and get that .500 record.
