Agreed. The Astros are the kinetic weapon I'm dropping on the other three. May they rip through them.

I usually want the team that beat my team to go through all others like crap through a goose, but that hasn't been the case with the Twins for quite some time now. Of course I'm rooting for Houston, I'm not insane.

Nats, although I don't particularly like them. Everyone else has won somewhat recently. Astros are the most likable, for me.

Which makes it even harder dealing with egos when guys are constantly being replaced.

Bobby Valentine had a huge payroll with the Red Sox. Go read how he turned that clubhouse toxic.

Dealing with people is the hardest part of coaching. And no one had to deal with what Boone had to deal with. For crying out loud, there were times he was fielding a second string AAA team. And they still kept winning.

He’s Manager of the Year.

Not sure you want him to be Manager of the Year. The winner of that award hasn't won the World Series since 2005, and has only won it all six times.

Personally, Boone should be in the mix, but I think what Rocco did was more impressive. The Bombas improved by 20+ games, and had to deal with their fair share of injuries as well...all with a roster with a tiny payroll.

Let's be honest, the Yankees are plug and play. Between the payroll and the talent, not that hard to succeed.

The Twins? Handcuffed by the payroll, and only in the past year they switched to an analytic approach...the manager doesn't have a lot to work with. With this kind of turnaround, Rocco for MOY.

Annibal Sanchez and Max Scherzer go back-to-back no hit bids through at least the first five innings in the postseason. The last time that happened was when Annibal Sanchez and Max Scherzer went 5+ no hit innings in games 1 and 2 of the 2013 ALCS. Baseball is crazy.

Final! The Nationals are advancing to the World Series!

They'll probably be slaughtered by the Astros, but I'm just happy they made the Series.
