Red Sox now asking the Twins for another top-ten prospect in addition to Graterol. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

We got Maeda. No.

Re: MLB 2019 and Beyond: Something Something Three True Outcomes....

Possible. Either the Red Sox will stop sniffing glue and come way down, or they and the Dodgers will cut out the Twins entirely and find a different third team that is willing to be fleeced.

Can't imagine a third team wanting to jump into that sewage pit after this news. The Red Sox completely ****ed up and didn't do their research. Now they're basically trying to reneg because they publicly revealed just how stupid they are.

Re: MLB 2019 and Beyond: Something Something Three True Outcomes....

Provided they didn't burn any bridges (a big IF) they can always go after him in free agency if his price and length of contract demands come down a little. There can't be that many teams who can afford that sort of money.

I don't follow like I used to, but I have FB friends who are big Sox fans and they've been discussing this at length. The Red Sox burned those bridges with the way they handled Betts in arbitration. There is speculation that he is doing the reverse of the "home town discount" that we've gotten used to seeing. Maybe other teams aren't willing to meet his lofty demands, but that is a "home town premium" he wants the Sox to pay to keep him but he will take less to sign with someone else.

I just cant get upset about sign stealing. Dont know why.

I should clarify, im not outraged at the youtube link either, but if we find out that the base coaches were holding their phones cracking the codes during games, that would be hilarious.

The first link I posted, yeah, that one I'm more irked that they covered it up and this was way more than just a couple guys spearheading this in the locker room.

The whole Astros organization can go die in a fire.

Next we're going to find out the base coaches were using this method as well...

mookie was in the book store last night and in the english section was 'astrosball' :p

wondered 1) all the books were shipped overseas as they are now bs
and 2) is there going to a re-issue with a new chapter telling how the first edition was crap and the reason they won was banging trash cans

I’ve been watching those videos for a couple hours now.

I’m now reconsidering my stance on Rose.
