I still cannot believe Hinch panicked and pulled Greinke. A home run to a guy who was blazing hot, and a walk that could have easily been a backwards K. Those are not worth taking out a guy with 76 pitches who was absolutely dominating.

First in war, first in peace, first in the major leagues.

Don't these a-holes insure themselves and do this as a publicity stunt? My impression is they wind up with a small loss whoever wins but eat it for the viral story. CBS is just doing their advertising for them for free; it's probably a paid story.
With a net worth of $300 mil I guess he could afford to lose the 13.Planet Money covered Mattress Mack. In 2017 insurance covered him for like 5 of the 13 million he was going to lose. Then he used gambling to hedge and was able to recoup most of the remaining 8 million.
Looks like he really got into the gambling part of it this year.
Carlos Beltran as Mets manager?
I don't remember him being a particularly cerebral player.
Carlos Beltran as Mets manager?
This is interesting because the Ponzis infamously treated him like sh-t as a player.
Yes, and almost refused to do media immediately following game seven because "why? I'm no longer employed by the Houston Astros."Did cole really address the media following the end of the WS is a “boras corp “ ball cap??
