MLB 2018.2: Postseason, Free Agency, and Awards

Re: MLB 2018.2: Postseason, Free Agency, and Awards

This extension takes him through 2021. He'll be 38. I'm not sure he's interested in pitching past that. Assuming he stays healthy, he'll be in the neighborhood of 250 wins and 3,300+ strikeouts. At that point he can sit back and wait for the call from Cooperstown.

Had no idea he was that old. It checks now.

I would not be away from Kate for any second more than I had to be.

Way back when I was a kid, my elementary school used to have Father-Son night (back when you were allowed to have such things), and they would bring in a local sports star to sign autographs.

The very first one I went to featured Jerry Grote. I still have that autograph somewhere (and I'm not an autograph collector nor a Mets fan).

The other two I went to (see if anyone can remember this one) was Gerry Philbin and a lineman for the Jets (I'm drawing a blank right now).

Alright. Who ya got this year!?

NL West: Dodgers, Rockies, Padres, Diamondbacks, Giants
NL Central: Brewers, Cubs, Cardinals, Reds, Pirates
NL East: Nationals, Phillies, Braves, Mets, Marlins

AL West: Astros, A's, Angels, Mariners, Rangers
AL Central: Indians, Twins, Royals, White Sox, Tigers
AL East: Yankees, Red Sox, Rays, Blue Jays, Orioles

I only have the Twins making the 2nd WC due to playing in the weakest division.

It's a novel idea, but I'm pretty sure Houston can't play in both leagues.

@pgammo: For $300 Dodger fans can purchase tickets in the Section 302 seats where Kirk Gibson's homer landed to win Game One of the '88 World series. Two seats, 1 t-shirts, food and beverage and $200 goes to the Gibson Foundation for awareness about Parkinson's Disease. Alltime Memory.

Col, then. Ever since Hou switched leagues they're both fake teams along with AZ, Tam, Mil, Mia.

I'm not too far off from JF. I know the Tigers and Royals are going to be bad, and the Orioles might somehow find a way to be even worse than they were last year. I got the feeling the Padres are going to squeak in. If the Rays' pitching can hold up, they can make a run, but they've got two monsters in that division ahead of them.
