I'm surprised they let Cespedes go. But they have to be a WS favorite.

Tommy Milone to the Twins for Sam Fuld.

I have no idea about the spelling of all that. Sorry.

They better win it now, because Lester is likely going back to Boston.

You dream. The Yankees or Dodgers will offer him 6 or 7 years at $180M and that will be that. Sad to think 5/125 would have gotten this done in the spring.

I've been an A's (and Sox) fan for a long time, and I thought Oakland might get into the Lester sweepstakes, but only because they have a ton of prospects. Really surprised they let Cespedes go. While I like the rotation, I still worry about their ability to get by Detroit.

Sox = Stupid. Unless they can sign him back. The # of players who can put up will all the pressure and BS of pitching in Boston is few and far between. Its one thing for a team like the A's not to be able to hand out a 150M contract to a 30 year old, but the Red Sox can and should have even if it had a bad year at the tail end of it. Really boned their fans no matter what Cespedes does for them and Lester could end up with a division rival.

And Clay Buchholz is the now the staff ace.

Does Pedro have any innings left in his arm??

The Sox tried to trade Pedro too, but MLB informed them he wasn't under contract anymore.

Remember, the Red Sox are the team with the highest average ticket price in baseball. Think they'll cut prices accordingly in the offseason?

Has any team ever traded their entire starting pitching staff in one week before? Ironically the only guy still here is the one I'd like to see gone the most.

David Price to Detroit for at least Austin Jackson.

Jackson was just pulled off the field mid-inning to a standing ovation, presumably so he's not on the field as of 4:01. I would think Smyly is gone too.

Craig and Kelly found out they'd been traded on TV and on twitter, respectively. How do you not give these guys a phone call.

Surely you jest.

Has this been the craziest Trade Deadline Day ever or what? I don't ever seem to recall a Trade Deadline Day with this many huge deals.
