Too funny. Both managers go with "their guy" and get lit up.

CBS tweets that Michael Jeter bowed in his final appearance at the All-Star Game.

In a related story, congratulations to Mumbles Menino on his new job.

Looks like Aroldis Chapman is the token pitcher that injures himself in the ASG this year.

Wainwright was a terrible liar during that interview. But he probably had Fox, MLB, the Cardinals, and his agent breathing down his neck to say something, anything, to try to make up for doing something as stupid as admitting he teed one up for Jeter.

I've seen a few people mention this, and I agree. How was there barely a mention of Tony Gwynn? I would have expected a cool in memoriam, thing. But barely anything whatsoever.

He wasn't mentioned on the broadcast at all. Did you expect Fox and MLB to distract from the Jeter story?

But he did wake up this morning to find that Jeter left him a gift basket and cab fare, so he has that going for him.

So he threw Jeter a cookie in the All Star game. So what? Jeter still had to do something with it. Non-issue for me.

Always has been. Allegedly he wears it that way in memory of his father, who did the same thing. *shrug*

So just because his dad was an idiot, he wants to be too? That is terrible logic.

If he throws strikes and gets guys out, I don't care if he wears his hat sideways and wears a clock around his neck like Flava-Flav.

I think the only thing he DIDN'T lie about were his thoughts on social media. :D

Had trouble with that when he was in a Tigers uniform.
