To really get a good handle of how bad the Twins are, one only has to look at the starting rotation. At least in the lineup there are some guys that SHOULD be decent at the plate (Mauer, Morneau, Willingham). I don't think there is a starting pitcher on the staff that will have an ERA below 5 or 6.

I don't dispute any of that. That's how bad I think the Astros are going to be. If they deal Altuve, 130 losses are in play.

Must be April 1. Cubs tied for first place, their starter throws an 8-inning shutout, and they have three players batting .500.


Magic number already down to 161.

For those that weren't aware, MLB Extra Innings has a free preview until 4/7.

The Dodger-Giant game was pretty fun. Shutout on both sides until Kershaw hit his first career home run. He was dealing. They had the Prime Ticket feed, so we got to hear Vin Scully. :)

I wanted to watch the Dodger game but i was busy with other games. Speaking of dealing. Strausburg was dominant in his start for the Nats. He got a ton of ground outs instead of K's and that kept him in the game a lot longer.

Not a lot of games today. I think i'll tune in to Cle/Tor to see the new look Blue Jays and maybe Bal/TB because I like Buck Showalter.

At the Rays home opener against the O's. Had to be that guy wearing a Yankee jersey because they wouldn't let me in with my "Buck Sucks and Baltimore Blows" T-shirt. This is America today. :rolleyes:
