It's great that they invite the soccer nations (pretty much everyone except us and Canada) to this as I hear a vuvuzela and some other random horns. :p:p

I'll give this a shot...

The wife and I are headed to DC in June to watch the Twins play the Nationals. Anyone been to a game there? Any advice on where to sit, eat, get to and from, where to stay, etc would be greatly appreciated! Looking to buy some tix soon online, looks like a bunch available in all sections still. Thanks in advance!

Saw my first ever cactus league game yesterday - SF at Cubs in Mesa. Cubs looked really bad. One more tonight, then heading back to snowy WI.

I'm trying to guess how far out of first place the Twins will be by the time all of the snow melts in my yard. Preliminary thinking has me somewhere between 6 and 8 games.

"Al Alburquerque" is my favorite name. It sounds like something that a movie character would make up when he was trying to make up a fake name.

Johan Santana wrecked his shoulder again. Another surgery is likely. He's almost certainly out for 2013, and could be done-done.

The Twins would like to compete in this race for worst record of the season. They have really tried hard in the offseason to get worse and make a run at it.

The Astros might be 10 games worse than you guys. Carlos Pena might be their best hitter, other than Altuve.

glad my tablet and phone mlb apps are working today. for whatever reason the ps3 app still only shows 2012 games.

oh and Bryce Harper is having a big day at the plate so far.
