:mad::rolleyes: The Cardinals kill me. They can't score two runs, but two days ago had 12. You'd think we could spread it out more...been doing this all season.

pardon me if I don't weep for the defending World Series champions. :p

The first round has been very entertaining. Every series has gone the distance. Maybe there's something to this 2-3 format.... nah, just kidding. ;)

You have to be kidding of course-get rid of this second wild card stuff-make each series best of 7 and let the best team win. In baseball there is nothing like game 7-just like in hockey there is nothing like Stanley Cup and especially a game 7.

Nationals are stupid. For many reasons. You don't pitch to that guy with Motte on deck. Make a pinch hitter beat you and force Motte out of the game. Strasberg in long relief might have helped save a 6-0 lead.

Dumb question of the night/year/decade: why the universal hate of StL? I'm not that plugged into baseball, very casual fan, FTR.
