we probably got about 5 to 6 inches here. Heavy to shovel too...Duluth is getting walloped. Duluth area schools are closed for tomorrow, which makes it three in a row for them.

Got home at about 11 last night to 6-8 inches of snow. Plowed the bare minimum to get in and out of the driveway, because I lost a pin on my plow. Need to finish up tonight.

The puppy loves the snow, though. :D

We have a Westy that we trust without a leash, but last night I swear I lost him for a bit when he started darting around in the snow in the backyard. I then used the blower to make a dumping ground for him. :D

Remember when some in here were complaining about the heat & humidity just a few short months ago?


How sweet would it be to walk outside in nothing but shorts right about now?

At least I'll be ice fishing on Tuesday this week and snowboarding on Thursday... I'm content with this weather :D

I'll still take this weather over hot and humid. This isn't nearly as miserable as that ****.

Could never understand my dad's hatred for cold weather. Been wintering in Naples since he retired in '95.


I'm starting to get it.

I don't really hate this yet, but I'm starting to wonder why I'd bother with it when I have a choice in the matter. The day will come when I head south permanently and the urge grows stronger by the year.
