Re: Minnesotans Still Arguing About the Weather...

The weather over the past week or so has been nothing but spectacular.

Re: Minnesotans Still Arguing About the Weather...

Late August, September, and even October have the best weather of any time of the year. Mid 70s, dry, and usually partly cloudy to sunny. Dips down into the 50s and 60s at night. It can't be beat.

It can if days are sunny and in the mid eighties.

cool enough to keep the bugs down, but you can go about alright in a t-shirt on.

78-84 if it's dry is about perfect because any humidity at those temps is tolerable.

Re: Minnesotans Still Arguing About the Weather...

I think there are a significant number of Minnesotans who disagree judging by outdoor activities and behavior of hundreds of thousands on sunny days in excess of eighty degrees. I'm one of them.

I don't hate 85+, but if I had my choice....

I can't stand high dew points when it's 65-70.

That being said, gimme 85-90 any day of the week, with night temps around 55-60. You can add in sunny/light breeze as bonuses if you like.

Re: Minnesotans Still Arguing About the Weather...

Today was wonderful. Could almost break out my favorite light jacket.

Why would I want to go in the pool when I got home from work... in August?

Bet the people spending their week at the lake are loving it too.

Re: Minnesotans Still Arguing About the Weather...

It's dry, nice temps and very comfortable, low humidity. Too many clouds...too little sunshine.

Re: Minnesotans Still Arguing About the Weather...

So, I'm sitting here getting my gear ready for my annual assault of the Salmon of Lake Michigan... I'm looking at temps possibly getting down into the low 40's overnight ... Not complaining, but I am surprised at how early I will be busting out the insulated bibs... Normally it's well after Labor Day before I'm forced to bust out the bibs... And usually this is after freezing my *** off in just a hoodie on a 50*F night because I am in denial of it actually getting cool out...

Re: Minnesotans Still Arguing About the Weather...

Supposed to be in the 90's next week. Could be record breaking heat...
