Re: Minnesotans Still Arguing About the Weather...

Was having lunch on the deck and had to go in to get some sunscreen.

Don't wanna burn before I get a base. :D

yeah, the sunlight reflecting up off the snow can really fool people...can even get sunburn in the shade that way!

For the second time in a few weeks, snow has been falling when they test tornado sirens.

They're not just for tornadoes anymore. And the sirens get tested the first Wednesday of the month all year round.

I'm willing to bet IA is going to see some severe thunderstorms tonight. Differences like that are usually what breed them.

There was a far more extreme example of this a few years ago in Duluth. It was a phenomenon called compressional heating where two high pressure systems collided and you saw 50-60 degree temperature differentials mere miles from each other. The temperature went up dozens of degrees in a what seemed like minutes.

I realize this. But it is stupid seeing it happen in middle/late April, and in May. * this place.

The reverse happened a few years ago. It was something like mid-70's in Minnetonka, so I took the top down on my Jeep for a trip to a buddy's in Montrose (about an hour away). By the time I got there, it was mid-40's or so. It was damn cold.

Other outdoor sports got cancelled. They still sailed.

goldy's on a two-hour and nine-minute repeat timer this morning.

Farmington and AV are covered in snow. The snowflakes were really big last night, 50-cent piece big. While on the drive into the office this morning, it looks like the snowfall stayed right along the 35E border between Apple Valley and Eagan.

I remember once driving down a street where it was raining on the right-hand side and completely dry on the left-hand side.

Mother nature is a c**t.

But I thought this crappy weather makes you appreciate the 17 nice days a year MN gets. AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

I'll go enjoy today and the rest of the year where the weather is perfect almost daily.
