The road I live on is by Minnehaha Creek, and yesterday morning, there were spots with a couple inches of standing water, but that cleared up by the afternoon. Downtown Delano is in trouble, as the Crow River is only 2-3 feet from touching the bridge. They are predicting it to be impassable by Sat night, and Sunday is when the river is supposed to crest.

Mine either...quite a few houses and a park have to be completely underwater before Minnehaha Creek even comes close to touching our house.

I'm not at a low point, but the soil is pretty much clay. Takes forever for the water to sink in.

I'm on solid clay and it takes a few hours and then it runs constantly.

The Menards I work at is out. Midway has plenty though.

Edit: Nevermind. Their yard flooded and they are using what they have left. Rerouting people to Cottage Grove now.

I'm at about 1,050 ft above sea level and a good 300 feet above the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers. I think I'm ok save for localized flooding. Certainly a possibility but I've seen 4" of rain in an hour and it only made the sump pump run overnight. The backyards have never really held water for any significant amount of time.

I'm on solid clay and it takes a few hours and then it runs constantly.

Ours kicks on every ten to fifteen minutes for 30 seconds or so. I'm not too worried about the water getting in. This house had a lot of work done to it after the basement flooded in the spring.

They're out too. Cottage Grove is about it for the southeast.

What do you do with the sandbags after the flood? Is the sand reused as well as the bags?

How many of those have you gotten?

Not many. They usually just sigh and go away. The distribution center didn't plan on sending any more until fall, when people are buying them to put in the back of their trucks for the winter.
