Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

Between you trying to justify McCabe's high, dirty hit and Gurt saying he's happy/wants Rau injured, you're all quite the classy bunch.

You're really off to a bad start here.

I don't want Rau injured. I'm not that bad of a person.

I just hope he dies in a fire or of AIDS or that he's raped to death by a herd of goats.

Hope that clears things up and makes this a little friendlier place for you. :)

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

Oh yeah, and I'd take him on our team in a heartbeat. ;)

Just rewatched the game on the DVR...Rumple got away with one at the start of the third. He pretty much tackled (Kloos I think?).

Wouldn't be the first time Rumpel got away with one. I was at the Final Five last year and remember when he "lost" (threw his stick)...it drove all of my SCSU friends to turn into alcoholics that night.

In all honesty and after coming down a bit from the bitterness of the loss, as much as I hate to admit it, it was a good series of hockey, both teams did what they should've done to win, Wisconsin was just able to execute and get that one goal in each night that made the difference. You've got a good team and I expect them to have a good rest of the season. I think these games, much like the second of the first series, could have gone either way and I hope we get another crack at you guys. Congrats on the win.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

Its funny that he gives all this analysis and then always sums it up with some form of "if the gophers play well..."

Could of saved 3 paragraphs if you just skipped right to your point. :D

My Preview for Friday night:

Gophers win.

Impressive…thanks for showing us how it’s done, Shakespeare. And so accurate too!:p:D Of course, you always did have an insatiable appetite for your own foot. BTW, your mama sucks whazzzooooooooos!!:D

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

I"m not going to take the time to read this thread after being out of town yesterday and Saturday so please forgive me as I will likely sound like a broken wheel, but what's new there?:D

I thought the BADgers/Rumpel stole that game on Thursday night. Friday night, the Gopher played poorly and the BADgers came out and kicked them in the mouth. Rumpel, again, played well and didn't give the Gophers anything to work with. All I can really say is congrats to sconnie for a good weekend of hockey. You guys capitalized on the few chances you had on Thursday and played the much better game on Friday. Good luck the rest of the way BADger fans. If sconnie, Michigan, and the Gophers keep beating up on each other, this B1G race and the tourney could be a lot of fun!:)

Until we meet again.....

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

ok, then fill it out, and post it so we can see how you do.

Sure, let's give this a shot. Sorry for the delay in posting, I don't spend much time on the message boards over the weekends.

This series will be another litmus test for this frustratingly inconsistent Badgers as the new and improved BI6 conference - Bucky/Rodent rivalry kicks into high gear tonight. The Badgers return to Madtown with a 13-2-1 home record, and despite the Goofs strong play all year they’ve been surprisingly vulnerable recently, putting up 2 goals or less in 3 of their last 6 games and letting the UMD Bulldogs put 4 goals in. On the Badgers side, with one key offensive player (Kerdiles) returning, the Badgers have a great chance to put the biscuit in the basket a few times and get their 6th home sweep of the season.

I could go on with the rest of the preview, but like I already said it doesn't take a genius to say that you need better special teams play than the other team, you need to match and overcome the strengths of the other team, and you need to park guys down low to win the game.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: 2/6 & 2/7

A late hit isn't Jake's fault for not seeing it coming. I have a bad feeling about the outcome of that one.

Agreed, this could be bad. He wasn't at SWTG on Saturday so that's definitely not a good sign.
