I dont know about all of you, but I thought their analysis of the homer was spot on! That might be the best call they ever made :D

That speaks volumes about the lack of professionalism and class from Harrelson.

A lot of silence after the crack of the bat. At the end of the celebration, Asscancer Harrelson said "we'll be back", just barely loud enough to be heard.

While there are some things that I don't like about Dick and Bert, overall I like them as a announcing team. They're are much better than their counterparts for other teams, and better than any alternative we would have here.

I've learned so much from Dick and Bert. Like how the Twins are the only professional sports team to donate any sort of time and money to community charities. And that while cheaters like Ken Griffey Jr. and all of Jim Thome's teammates were injecting growth hormone into their scrotums, Jim Thome was drinking chocolate milk with orphans.

Ken Griffey Jr. and cheater?!

Read on some blog's comments section (yeah, not a great source) that someone is claiming that Hawk has said that the White Sox should throw at Delmonsy's head tonight. Keep it classy, Chicago.

Delmonsy is probably the one guy on the team that would go ape**** on someone if they ****ed him off...

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

Someone ought to throw at ChickenHawk's voice box.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

They had Rauch do it because he might be the only one with any sort of shot against Thome.
Personally, I think it looks bad when the guy who would have been the losing pitcher and is working on a string of less than stellar appearances is going around giving out shaving cream pies.

Delmonsy is probably the one guy on the team that would go ape**** on someone if they ****ed him off...
So who would Delmon go after this time? Mijares again? Or maybe himself, as he would have been the one who started it.

It was all started by the White Sox bullpen catcher or coach or some other nobody in their pen when he said he was going to tell the pitchers to throw at Mauer's head.

I believe the exact quote from Bert was "The only players to legitimately hit 600 home runs are Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, and Willie Mays."

And of course Jim Thome, if he gets to 600.

Bert's pretty senile. He probably just forgot about Griffey.

And I have no problem with Raush being the guy to hit Thome with the pie since Raush is the guy that Jim bailed out.

Coach.

Then came the pitch to Hardy that nearly took his head off...

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

Yep, if they plunk Delmonsy tonight, there very well may be a brawl. I don't see Delmonsy having his anger in check at that point.
I just hope Delmonsy doesn't throw a bat in a rage!

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

I'm putting the over/under on ejections for tonight's game at 2.5 Any takers?

I'll go over, because there is a good chance that Gardy and Ozzie both get tossed, plus whichever pitcher throws at a head first.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

I will take the under...I doubt if anything happens.
