Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

I see irony is dead.

No, just your sense of humor. :)

I don't find the developmentally challenged funny.

Then why do you spend so much time with those SCSU-folk? :) :p

Wow. You really don't know me, do you? Either that or you just keep confirming what I just said.

We've never met, so that would have to be a negative. :)

It's about the time of year the blue jays melt down.... remember last year when they were in first place and everyone was going ga ga over them for a week?

....no? Yeah, I don't really remember that either after they tanked for 2/3 of the season.

Even with those kind of expectations, that inning with them throwing the ball all over the infield was.... well..... it had to have been amusing for any twins fans there. :)

I do.

And never believe in a Canadian baseball team. Sure, they might be sorta successful here and there, but in the long run? Nope. They are the one AL East team I'd never bet on when facing the Twins. Ever.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

You forgot Baltimore was in the AL east. Admit it ;)

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Sometimes the Orioles forget they're in the AL East. That's why their record looks like it does.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

So that is how they speed up Red Sox games. Just call someone out when they aren't.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Anyone looking for tickets to the Brewers/Twins games this weekend?

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

DOn't say that on GPL... You might offend someone's sensibilities.

Brief recap. I make 9-11 jokes. Hitler jokes. Racist jokes. Religious jokes. Crippy jokes. If there's a punchline somewhere, I'll say it, think it, set the straight line up for someone else to say it, whatever. There is no <strike>spoon</strike> line. :D

Yeah, I hear you.

I tend to take the South Park approach: You're always going to offend someone, so you might as well offend everyone.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

NEED a win tonight to go 3-4 on the roadtrip. With a win tonight I won't be too upset about this roadie. Need to take 2/3 against the Brew Crew

No, the Twins need to sweep the Brewers, anything less is disappointing.

I hope that doesn't happen but it wouldn't surprise me with how crappy the Brewers have been lately. If the Brewers win don't win tonight, I kinda doubt they don't find a way to end the streak against the Twins...but who knows.
