Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

I think Thome should just hit a bomb here. Just my opinion.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Thought that ball fielded by Cabrera might should have been fair. Good call, though, as the next pitch goes up the middle to make it 3-2. JJ Hardy-Dy-No-Mite! :D

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

whew, the twins manage to take the lead without hurting my holds guy's ERA, and since it wasn't a hold situation, thats about the best thing that could have happened :p

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Wilson Ramos coming out of the clouds tonight; no hits, a K and hopping on the Twins patented GIDP bandwagon.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

I'm convinced the GIDP count is just a ploy to get you people to shut up about the RISP and whine about something else for a change. :)

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Its really nice to see Baker and Blackburn not suck on back to back nights.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part II - The Franchise Strikes Back

Nick Punto, while he doesn't carry a very good average, is an absolute pitch gobbling machine. I imagine the P/AB is quite high.

What's Minnesota professional sports without something to ***** about? :p ;) :)

Oh Mauer. I just realized the potential my fantasy team has for an awesome name with the players I have.

Great, now Gardy will be that much less likely to leave a starter in for the complete game.

Even after Johan's and Moon Shot's performance over the past couple games, he is working with a short bullpen, otherwise he'd have had a shorter leash for them.

Honestly, I bet they were hoping for a rainout, to rest the bullpen, get people healthy, etc.
