Nothing like having the air taken out of you right away with 3 goals. Pretty gross but with the Sconnie win we look to be pretty much locked in to a 3 seed.

Being in the Sioux or gophers regional would be fun!

I have the same thought, or hope. That was a tough one to be at on Thursday. It will be interesting with all the upsets already today who is in and who is out.

I find zero ways Kato can't make it at this point.

Atlantic Hockey
Championship game: Canisius defeats Mercyhurst

CCHA
Semifinal #2: Notre Dame defeats Ohio State
Semifinal #1: Michigan defeats Miami
Championship game: Michigan defeats Notre Dame

ECAC
Championship game: Brown defeats Union
Consolation game: Yale defeats Quinnipiac

Hockey East
Championship game: Boston University defeats Massachusetts-Lowell

WCHA
Championship game: Wisconsin defeats Colorado College

This leaves both SCSU and Mankato out, and the WCHA would only get 4 bids into the NCAA Tournament.

That being said, it is still quite likely that Mankato makes it.

Oh, there's plenty. Basically they need one result to fall their way out of about six games. The good news is that I bet Vegas gives pretty good odds on six-game parlays, so at least the pain will be profitable.

Apparently the only question left is whether we'll be the overall 9, 10, 11, or 12, so we'll be a 3 seed in whichever regional we get sent to.

Correct. One of the two seeds will be North Dakota, so they can't play them--and more than likely eliminates Grand Rapids as a destination. That means a 1 in 3 chance of playing New Hampshire in New Hampshire.
