Gritty. Great third period. I think the Herbert injury hurt the Bulldogs. They wore down in the 3rd.

Not sure what happened to UMD. They just couldn't score after their second goal. MSU took advantage of some rebounds and scored 3 unanswered. Perhaps teams have found McNeely's weakness and it seems like teams are shooting the puck at his pads and hoping for a rebound. UMD's defense needs to be better as well.

Dog's have 3 decent scoring threats and two are freshmen, not much else. The rest of the bunch are interchangable plumbers.
