Minnesota State at Alaska-Anchorage November 20-21, 2009

Re: Minnesota State at Alaska-Anchorage November 20-21, 2009

It's not the first time Gwoz has been accused of lying. Do a google of "Gwozdecky" and "lies" and you'll find some interesting commentary from a Sioux fan on a Mike Chambers article. Very telling.

Huh. I just did this and all I got was Gwoz' brother (a UN nuke inspector) calling out Bush and his cronies as having lied about WMD's....

Oh, and DG calling out Coombe and his cronies telling lies about Boone's popularity.

I just had milk come out of my nose. These people remind me of the gag gift available years ago: it was a tin can with a slot in the top, like a charity would use, and the label said "support mental health or I'll kill you"

Re: Minnesota State at Alaska-Anchorage November 20-21, 2009

I'll try one last time. I concede every point you make: Gwozdecky's a liar by the clock, Mike Chambers is the latter day incarnation of Lord Haw Haw and DU is the center of evil in the western world.

But let's see if you can't focus on just one issue. Just one. You said, repeatedly, that Wiecioh wasn't hurt, and implied repeatedly that he was a liar for having said he was. It's obvious now that he was hurt. Why can't you just admit you were wrong? You do realize you were wrong, right?

Again, I based my comment on what I saw. How many times have you seen a player get injured and then when he gets back on the ice you say "well, that's a good sign, he's back on the ice. He must not be injured"?

Again, Gwoz cannot be trusted. Remember that little incident last January?

The University of Denver on Tuesday suspended hockey coach George Gwozdecky, a day after verbally reprimanding him for drawing an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and game misconduct Saturday night at North Dakota.

The one-game suspension was for communicating with his team after being ejected.

Gwozdecky's punishment stems from speaking to assistant coaches via headset from the press box.
Real upstanding coach you have there. And I won't even go into the Bina incident.

Tyler Bozak, last year at Mankato got hit knee-to-knee and continued to take shifts until the swelling started. He missed basically the rest of the season. Next.

You say "real upstanding", I say "real winner"....unlike Shyiak, Hill, Brush, Tally.

Re: Minnesota State at Alaska-Anchorage November 20-21, 2009

I guess it was someone else who posted about a crunching LaFructose hip check that took another player out. Somebody's posting under your name, nob. And the word "doctor" was followed by a question mark. You do know what they're for don't you? I'll explain it to you slowly: it was meant to be sarcastic. Get it now? It must be tough, year after year and the only hardware you guys get is from Home Depot. But cheer up, you've got Kane LaFructose and his crunching hip checks.

Once again, i never celebrate an injured player(when I say 'took another player out', i mean out of the play, not game, dumbass), I do celebrate the explosive, clean, hip checks, that make the opponents fly, and just cuz your team can't figure out how to do that, doesn't make them illegal. I do believe I understand sarcasm, ironicly it's you who doesn't. Last post on this issue, trollers **** me off.

Dear Old Pio….. Have the Boone’s farm boy’s buy you a ticket…better have them buy you 2 tickets for January 8th and 9th so you can personally apologize to Kane Lafranchise for your coach.

Did Patrick get hurt…yes

Was the check legal…yes

Was Kane suspended for no reason……Yes

Where the referees suspended for buying into Gwozdecky’s tyrant and after consulting the rule book and giving out a unwarranted penalty to shut him up……yes

Will they think twice about giving a penalty because a coach goes off about a call they didn’t see or deem warranted and maybe getting suspended or fired for their appeasing actions? Yes

Do I like to see players injured…No I don’t. Not mine, not yours

Re: Minnesota State at Alaska-Anchorage November 20-21, 2009

OK people, lets just drop this stupid subject about Wiercoch & gwozdecky please, this is absolutely retarded, it happened 3 weeks ago GET OVER IT.

Now to last night, My confidence in Shyiak's ability to coach is gone completely. He has lost this team, winning on saturdays after getting killed on fridays is not gonna fill seats. I'm still question why Sidor was even out there, but i found out Bryce was the emeregency 3rd goalie last night, so thats why sidor got in. But Sidor is NOT gonna win us games. He showed some promise but i don't see him winning us games. Shyiak Needs to Go.

Sounds like the outine of a resolution. Suze apologizes to Wiercioch and I'll apologize to LaFranchise. Get the word to her in the bunker please. :)

Proof of this assertion that the refs were suspended? Where is it?

Don't give me, "Well they didn't ref the next weekend, now did they?" Because only 10 refs worked the next weekend, so 12 inherently did not and that would not assure 'suspension'. Proof.

Perhaps it went like this…. You enlighten me
Gwozdecky called ol’ shep up and said don’t dispatch those 2 anywhere I’m flying my yes boy’s to Denver for the weekend..... to party like a Kennedy.

Re: Minnesota State at Alaska-Anchorage November 20-21, 2009

UAA performed more like they are capable tonight. I only saw the last 2 periods, but they played very well.

I was afraid the Mavs would come out and lose after blowing their load with 8 goals on Friday. I'm actually not sure if that is the exact metaphor for the evening, but they lost and that is that.

UAA in 8th, Mavs in 9th and MTU in 10th [by virtue of not playing]. Welcome to the perpetual cellar, Mavs. I feel, unless there is a fundamental philosophy change at the root level of the program, we better get used to it. This Mavs team has some decent talent, good speed and can really grind it out at times, but they need a winning mentality. Or just wins. ***

Great, you scored 8 on Friday, Mavs, but for the love all that is holy FINISH IT!

Again, my comments not to take anything away from UAA--you, did play better.

Nice bounce-back win tonight, Seawolves. :)

What's funny about that is that before the season started, I said there were three tiers to the WCHA.

Tier 1: DU, CC, UND
Tier 2: SCSU, UMD, UW, UM
Tier 3: MSUM, MTU, UAA

And I'm two points away from being right on the money. :)

...

From my point of view, I'm not sure it is all that "funny," but in the same breath, I don't disagree with this grouping :(

UAA played much better, they didn't give up and had an entire team effort. Bryce gave them a chance to win, but the D played much better in front of him than they did Jonnie last night. I really do think the team plays better in front of Bryce. I remember this being the case back when Davis and Teskey were vying for playing time, the guys just played better in front of Doug.

Anyway, congrats on the W guys. Now the hurdle is winning on the road and winning a Friday game. Have a great week of practice!

Nice win by the Seawolves! Hey Suze, is that hack LaFranchise back? Just kidding, trying to get your goat. :)

Hi Todd. Actually, he was a healthy scratch tonight. Don't know why.
