Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/15/11

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/15/11

Why did Jay get the double minor again?
He hit two different players behind the play.

After that replay of the MN penalty kill, they need serious work on that. How the **** can their positioning be that ****ing bad halfway through the season?

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/15/11

Minnesota Penalty. 4 on 4 and then a North Dakota PP to carry over into the 2nd.

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/15/11

Ness trips Gregoire and will draw a penalty. Probably a good penalty there as Gregoire would have been in on a clean break.

4x4 for 20 seconds and then a Sioux powerplay.

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/15/11

SOG:
Sioux - 16
Gophers - 5
12 UND shots were on the powerplay.

And MN has to trip a guy on the powerplay to prevent a breakaway. Awful, just awful.

This is the maddening side of this year's team - generally play well one night and then follow it with a game like this that features horrible positioning and rampant stupidity.

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/15/11

Sioux generate a couple chances before the period ends.

Sioux will have 1:16 left on the pp to start the 2nd.

Sioux 2-1 after 1.

All things considered, Gophers are lucky to only be down 1.

Rampant Stupidity is too kind.

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/15/11

Keep on crying.

I call them as I see them. If a guy who outwieghs Ness by 30 pounds falls over that easy, it's a dive. Ness couldn't knock over my Grandma, and you know it.

Thanks.

Agree lots of running around.

I may have mentioned this but please stay out of the box Gophers.
