Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/15/11

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/15/11

They made that look easy.

One guy went below the goal line and the other two went to the same side.

Who the **** coaches the PK? Horrible.

And because Barriball still had 15 sec left on the first penalty when that goal was scored, UND remains on the 5-on-3.

Still 5 on 3. one of the dumbest rule changes i seen ever. I hate the new rule that the penalty still happen even after a goal.

That had nothing to do with it. The penalty with the least remaining time is eliminated on a PPG (assuming it isn't a major), and Barriball still had 15 sec left on the front half of his double minor, so UND stayed on the two man advantage.

MN is very fortunate to escape all that powerplay time only giving up a goal.

Penalty to UND. I like how the crowd is angry after their team just had all that powerplay time with a two man advantage. Make-up calls are inevitable now. :p

Never knew that, thank for correcting me on that.

Not a rule change. The goal canceled the balance of Baribell's first penalty leaving his second penalty and thus a 5 on 3.
