Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/14/12

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/14/12

Given that shot, i completely could understand the retaliation.

a team really shouldn't pick a low talent goon for a captain. pick someone that can score in the third, not goon it up in the third.

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/14/12

and yet after the shot, the pushing and wrestling ensued between all the players. I know you tried to fish about gooning but in this period it's clear who has been the goons. Probably should have been two majors on the gophs this period.

While I agree there could have been 2 majors they were hardly gooning hits, it happens sometimes.

A CFB isn't in and of itself a goon play, but rather it's stupid. I don't deny that Alt deserved the 5, but apparently you deny that Lammy was punching a player in the head that had nothing to do with the CFB. btw I'm not saying UND has gooned it up at all in retrospect, I'm really only asserting that Lammy and somewhat Pattyn are gutless hacks.

I wouldn't call the first one gooning it but the second would qualify. I just find it funny that you were predicting gooning earlier and the closest thing to gooning has come from the boys in maroon and gold.

I'm not saying Lammy didn't throw the punches and had he been tossed i wouldn't have complained but only saying given the play that it occured after, i could understand the reaction.
