There isn't much hockey talk to be had this weekend anyways.

Minnesota will get the points they need to win the conference title and be the #1 seed in the B1G tourney, even if its just a series split.

I had high hopes for Michigan fan to take the place of Sioux fan in our dysfunctional little family but it appears that they are single topic posters - hockey of all things.

How dare they try to troll the thread with actual hockey talk before Thursday? It's sad because I guess they're just trying to divert us from the fact they're about to get bounced out of the NCAAs this week and we're going to hang another banner. Banners... remember those Gurt?

See? Just took a shot at a WI poster in our thread. It doesn't even have to be confined to the teams playing.

Honestly, there's not much "hockey discussion" to be had before the games actually start. People can start speculating about what will happen on the ice, but it's really just guessing. The thread from the last Gophers-Badgers series was pretty ridiculous, but once it actually came time for the hockey games to be played, we had things to talk about regarding the games that weekend.

Honestly, there's not much "hockey discussion" to be had before the games actually start. People can start speculating about what will happen on the ice, but it's really just guessing. The thread from the last Gophers-Badgers series was pretty ridiculous, but once it actually came time for the hockey games to be played, we had things to talk about regarding the games that weekend.

Yeah, like why don't you skate faster, pass better, quit muckin' it up with all that trappin', don non-lame jerseys, have a popcorn skunk for a mascot....... You'll catch on, uglies, you,ll catch on.

I think it's time these Michigan fans become educated on His Majesty John Mariucci and the Holiness of Minnesota Hockey according to The Dubber. How could he not be here to lead the Helmetites to the promised land?

2. In a broader spectrum, the west is the best and dictates what is discussed.

I have not heard anything, which probably means it's not going to be good news.

As for the series, I could see MN coming out strong on Friday night, winning the game and the conference, and then just mailing it in on Saturday since the game won't matter one bit.

For all the complaining about hockey talk, have you actually mentioned anything about it other than whining about it? You may get some bites on it, you never know. But you definitely won't now with your "take our ugly helmets and go home" attitude. You point out bantering does nothing to impact the series since none of us lace up and take the ice, but obviously neither does breaking down starting goalies or how many MI players will get game misconducts.

You don't want to participate in banter, fine. It's all in fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously. Look at all the bucky fans here and no one takes then seriously. (see, that's how it's done. Any bucky fan offended by that probably doesn't hang out here mutch anyways.) But now you will obviously be the source of ridicule for this post for quite some time. Enjoy.

I heard Warning was skating fine in practice on Wednesday, but tDon would make a decision about whether he was playing or not later.

I hope he is in the lineup, that just gives us more speed and scoring ability throughout the lineup.
