With the USHL and those types of leagues becoming more noticeable, I don't think the private schools are as dominate in AA as they used to be for hockey. Kids that would have gone private for a better hockey experience (more experience?) are now turning to the juniors more than ever. So while the private schools are still very good, mostly, it's not like it used to be.
Private schools used to dominate do really well in football, but now they're just good teams.The logistics would be a nightmare, but should Minnesota move to public (A, AA, etc.) and private state tournaments? I don't follow the other sports, but do the private schools dominate the other sports?
