The first round of the A tournament going as expected, and is a complete waste of time. STA and Breck win with a combined score of 14-0. :rolleyes:

The disappointing aspect of the whole seeding system is that while it provides good matchups for the semis and finals, the quarterfinals tend to be rather lopsided. But these first two sure were barnburners all the way down to the wire. :rolleyes:

Also, I would just like to reiterate how godawful Phil Houseley is. Is he seriously the best they can do down there? Almost makes me wish for Nanne to do the whole tournament.

Lourdes doesn't actually look as bad as I expected. They don't look like they'll beat Hermantown, but they aren't horrible.

Hermantown was obviously the better team, but gotta hand it to Lourdes for finding a way to keep it close.

Hermantown sure monkeyed that up. They had a chance to keep the unseeded scoreless. Bruce Plante is not pleased.

Hermantown coach looks like he put down a few High Lifes or PBR 's back in his day. :)
