Minnesota High School Hockey 2011-2012

At least Lakeville South is a legit team this year, so the 1AA team won't be a complete pushover like in years past. Other than the 2 Lakeville teams the section is complete horse****.

Afternoon Session:
#2 Maple Grove v. Hill Murray
#3 Eagan v. Moorehead

Evening Session
#1 Duluth East v Lakeville South
#4 Edina v. Benilde-St. Margaret's

Last game could be really, really, good.

Class A pairings announced this evening as there is still one section final game to be played this afternoon.

I'm expecting some lopsided scores today, but hey, maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.

No score early between STA and Little Falls

Do they go running time in the 2nd or 3rd when it hits 6 goals?

There should be a clause, where a committee of 5 preappointed members can rule to move a private school up a class.

No, there shouldn't. The only thing STA not moving up is accomplishing at this point is embarrassing the school itself as it gives the impression that they're taking the easy route....
