This St. Francis-Eastridge game is awesome so far! 12 seconds into Eastridge's first ever game, they take a penalty. Then as soon as the puck is dropped the buzzer sounds. Then they can't stop the clock. And Eastridge's rink seems to have taken inspiration from Bemidji, with seats on one side of the arena. And they keep losing picture and sound. Awesome!

Where is Eastridge? New school?

New school in South Washington County (east side of metro). Lots of new development out that way over the last 10 years = lots of babymaking :D

The Mighty Joey Benik seems to be having problems scoring.

Nice to see FSN airing commercials for events that occurred two weeks ago.

East Ridge has done a pretty good job on him thus far...

Joey Benik would be better off if he transferred to Grand Forks Central. St. Francis is a crap team with a very good player.

So does St. Paul Central have a hockey team? They've got a team and a coach listed on their Athletic Dept web page, but I can't find anything anywhere else. No scores, no standings. I checked the MSHSL website, too. Nothing. :confused:

Pretty good strategy: find him, then hit him.

East Ridge sure hasn't been shy with the physical game tonight.

No. Central (and maybe Arlington) kids play at for Como and there are a few Central kids on the Como team. Humbolt & Harding kids play at Johnson. Highland has a JV team, new last year, and there was talk they might play at the varsity level next year but I haven't heard for sure.
