Is Notermann any relation to Jason Notermann, who played for UND from 00 to o4? He was from Rochester.

Yeah...was thinking just over .500...which is what they are.

So at forward the latest thinking is Pitlick, Marooney, and either Mittelstadt or Wait. Obviously both Wait and Notermann could use USHL time...and Marooney is what he is. This of course depending on departures.

Mittelstadt was a Junior this year, and I thought everything I read said he did not accelerate his studies. So how would he come in?

Whatever, whenever he comes in, this kid is the real deal! There is little doubt he will be a huge help in bolstering the Gophers' offense during his tenure, which I'm afraid will be cut short by at least two years before he turns pro. Hope I'm wrong.

Wait is NOT coming in next year. Back to Waterloo (or someone else in the USHL if there is a trade).

I can understand the team's apathy tonight. What, with having the conference title and high seed in the NCAA tourney already wrapped up there was no reason to play more than 5 minutes inspired hockey.

Just one problem, they DON'T have the conference title wrapped up. Michigan will beat Penn State again tomorrow night - a near certainty. Gophers need at least a shootout win to take the conference.

So the "high seed in NCAA" wasn't clear enough?

But you are correct, Greyeagle should have used the ;) to make it clear! To Badger fans, anything above a ranking of 40 is 'high'.

Odd stat: Other than Arizona State, the Gophers are the only D1 team to not have a tie game this season.
