Minnesota Gophers Offesason Thread: Back To 1896

Re: Minnesota Gophers Offesason Thread: Back To 1896

I prefer Let It Be or Tim, but still very good.

Oh, I agree. IMO, Let it be, Tim and Pleased to meet me might be the best three albums in a row by any band on the planet. ;) Bare with me here for a little days gone by. I once drove Slim Dunlop home from a student film shoot in St. Paul I asked him if the Mats will ever get back together? He paused and said no. What a guy. A couple of years ago I met Tommy after one of his solo shows through one of his cousins who I went to school with in Edina. He seemed distracted so I really never got to talk with him. Paul lives in my old neighborhood in Edina and I guess rumor has it he is a little different. Finally, a friend of mine who was at a Twins game asked Mars what he did for a living. As Mars started to explain to him one of the Mats songs started to play, his wife made a motion towards the speakers and he had no clue what she was doing. He said, I am sorry and Mars just laughed. Just my 2 cents. ;)

Looking forward to the reunion, but sadly Slim won't be able to play and I doubt Mars will want to.

NHL draft day has arrived. Size counts in the NHL.:D Which is why Taylor Cammarata is currently ranked 193rd (out of 210) by Central Scouting Service North American Skaters. One sports writer commented that "if NHL teams followed that list to a T, he would be unlikely to be drafted". That means Cammarata might be a 4 year player, a good thing for Gopher fans. Based upon his natural scoring ability alone though, I would not be surprised if some NHL team nabs Taylor. Justin Kloos is ranked at 203rd, with similar size issues. Tommy Vannelli is the highest ranked Gopher recruit at 44th and should get picked up in the first 2-3 rounds.

Why does Garth Snow continue to draft Gophers? Secondly, why is he still employed? Thirdly, is the Islanders the worst sports franchise in the United States?

Anyone know if all Minnesota games will be on TV next year? I'm used to watching the games on Fox College Sports since I'm in NY, but I'm wondering if all games will be on the BTN.

All conference games will be on the BTN and most non-conference games will be carried by FSN and should be available on FCS.

Rumor has it all NC games will be shown on Fox North and all conference games on BTN.

Ugh. Tired of conversation regarding refs, shootouts, and Wed night games. I guess at least there's no bad news.

Is it expected that someone will head up the B1GHC?

And yet they made the playoffs!
