Don't know what is worse, outplaying a team and losing, or getting beat because your team didn't show up? Right now, it feels like the latter, but my perspective might be skewed.

Is the women's game at 4 pm tomorrow? I can not find a TV listing for it. REALLY? National Championship and stations have women's b-ball and track on, but not a NAT Champ game? Anyone know different?

This team and its NC aspirations are doomed.

These guys really think they can just play high caliber, championship hockey, when they feel like it.

They're in for a rude awakening next week.

The difference last night from many games, is it wasn't like they turned it on in the third once they realized they had to, they got worse as the game went on.

Momentum is definitely lacking, but they have been Jeckel and Hyde throughout the year. Last night's game doesn't mean we'll see that in the next game, but it sure doesn't leave you with a good feeling. They aren't the only top team getting upset his weekend either. I really thought they had a great shot at doubling up on WCHA hardware, so this one is tough to take. Even if they play their best hockey, there is no guarantee in NCAA play, so you have to take all the trophies you can. So I don't buy the "I don't care because NC's are all that matter argument".

I think if it was No Dak and not CC then the Gophers actually try, but since it was CC there was not much heart there. Gophers tend to play to their competition and well, they did not bring their A game for a B opponent.

I have heard it will be played on the BTN.

Russo just said Haula will be gone after the NCAAs and play in Huston

As much as I knew this was almost a foregone conclusion, it is still hard to deal with. You think about the teams that do the best, they are usually the ones that have a couple upperclassmen studs who could have left early.

I was still holding out hope that it would not happen, but It was a pipe dream.

Hey, not sure why my autocorrect sucks, but it does.... Houston

No worries...no surprises here, the news on Haula was expected, Bjugs (Florida Panthers) is on that list as well. Zach Budish (Nashville Predators) might be a flight risk.

I thought maybe he was playing for something below the AHL level in some small town.

If I were Florida I would NOT be impressed with BJugs performance this year. He does not have the Alpha Dog mentality that wants to take over the game constantly. It feels like he thinks all he has to do is show up and that is good enough. He is the biggest and most talented guy out there, but does not play like it.

I don't think he thinks he believes he just has to show up. He plays hard in most areas and backchecks well. I think he sees himself as a finesse player and set-up guy, when he should be plowing people over and taking over games with his size and skill. Watched Gaudreau make a run through a couple guys last night for a scoring chance and drew a penalty. In most cases this year, Bjugs would have peeled around looking for a trailer to feed instead of continuing on. He is good in every other aspect of the game, but what should set him apart is a power-forward mentality.
