GM Dale Tallon: Tallon > Garth Snow. Check the 3:30 mark.

Was anything common back in the 70's?

$$$$ or National Championship is the real decision. Much more difficult to make.

He'll make much less if he plays in the AHL, unless they give him a one-way contract, which I doubt.

$900,000 to play in NHL is a lot tougher decision than $100,000 or so to play in AHL.

He will have an ELC, which I think can only be 2 way.

Pintos, Vegas, Gremlins, Mavericks

No one but Brooks could pull that tie off. Not even Chuck Norris.

And no one but Brooks could effectively argue for its aesthetic beauty.

Although I don't think it will happen...throw the potential for another glorious NHL lockout into the mix.

Re: Minnesota Gopher 2012 offseason thread

Wow... Parise and Suter to the Wild for a small fortune.

Year 1: $2 million base salary + $10 million signing bonus = $12 million
Year 2: $2 million base salary + $10 million signing bonus = $12 million
Year 3: $6 million base + $5 million signing bonus = $11 million
Years 4-8: $9 million base
Year 9: $8 million base
Year 10: $6 million base
Year 11: $2 million base
Years 12-13: $1 million base

That even got former Minnesota North Star Mike Modano tweeting: Can I come back and play in Minnesota too..? ‪https://twitter.com/9modano/status/220553111280951297
