RR: "I’m majoring in business and marketing with a minor in communications and a minor in management. I hope to go into broadcasting, or something in advertising."

I've heard her a couple of times on KFAN Mondays on the nine to noon show. She does pretty well. I'm guessing the career in broadcasting is there if she wants it.

It's probably not realistic to expect much more, and it is an improvement over previous years when the only game they've shown live has typically been buried in the middle of the afternoon. Showing the Womens outdoor game would have been nice, but it wasn't really possible with the whole Frozen Friday thing they've been doing. Considering the sport can't even get its national championship game shown on TV anymore, one live game and a handful of tape delayed games is pretty decent.

I do wonder why they don't show more games on BTN2Go, though. If they can get the rights to show the games on tv, you'd think they'd be able to stream them too.

IMO the biggest potential out there for national exposure for the program is that GWH gets on BTN or BTN2Go. It is an outstanding sports product...and the Olympic game with Canada showed just how thrilling it can be. Here MI, yet again, is costing women's hockey big time as it is technically not a B1G sport. Any time the B1G wants to take any sort of credit for the Gophs women's team (knowing full well that the women's team gets pub)...I'm down with that.

Both Bona and Cameranesi exhibit some quick...soft hands on their goals. The KT goal...backhand, from that angle...wow!

Then there was the cannon. All good stuff for some video highlights.

...showed some nice puck handling late in the 3rd period, looked like a bullfighter the way she stepped around those Bulldogs, the puck was the cape

... if Bozek is Nolan Ryan, McMillan is Sandy Koufax

Milica really need that, given how she had played in the game until that point. A number of the Gopher faithful I was sitting with were suggesting that Frosty sit her for a few shifts.

Same suggestion passed between myself and D2D via text during the game. Appeared she would maybe rather be somewhere else.

Davis got leveled by a cross-check from Kenyon just before McMillen's snipe whizzed over their heads. No. 9 got up and had a few choice words for the Bulldog -- maybe, "There's some karma for you ... friend." Yes, I'm sure that is the noun she would have used, one senior to another. :D

Some of the fans around us weren't really paying attention to the details of what was happening for most of the game. McMillen had been playing well for some time before she actually scored. For pretty much the whole third period, in fact.

Nice game by the Women last night :)

Looks like NoDak is going to be fighting for their season tonight, PWR still shows them as #10, so they'll need to win to keep playing.

that's the difference between seeing a game in person and watching at home
they replayed that play numerous times to see if Bona had touched the puck with a high stick or not
every time they started with Davis covering her head as she was kneeling on the ice
OK, I thought, maybe not the best thing to do, but it's not entirely stupid either
had no idea she was knocked to the ice, you miss a lot on a video feed
I thought she was just getting out of the way
