Her teammates agreed... She got the hardhat for hardest worker on the ice (though Kelly Terry got in a photobomb). pic.twitter.com/XOKLt6zmThe player who most impressed me today was Becky Kortum. Fifteen seconds into the game she made a nice feed to Kelly Terry that almost resulted in a goal. She scored the first goal on a beautiful play. She later got an assist on another great pass to Terry. And she was all over the ice disrupting Wisconsin plays.

Minnesota Daily: No. 1 Gophers add unbeaten record to dream season
That is correct.I believe the start is 2:30 PM local on Sat. afternoon...and did I read a change to 6:00 PM on Friday?
The Daily is the student newspaper at the U., so they had better pick up on it. But from the two large metro rags, the Star Tribune only had the obligatory "from News Services" recap of yesterday's game on their web site, and I don't think the Pioneer Press had anything.Even the Newspapers are picking up on it
There was an equivalent to the Strib recap in the print version of the Pioneer Press. Couldn't find a thing in the online edition. The Daily is the student newspaper at the U., so they had better pick up on it. It's the same chicken-and-the-egg scenario that has been discussed before. Newspaper will give a team less coverage because of its smaller (perceived) fan base, and fan base won't grow because of lack of attention, leaving hardcore supporters frustrated.Re: Star Tribune, what I don't understand is that they will often devote a large chunk of the first page of the sports section to the (mediocre) Gopher's women's basketball team, but more often than not they'll make you page back and really have to look in order to find the short recap of the (undefeated) women's hockey team. Yes, it's been better lately, but up until this point the disparity has made me wonder why they call Minnesota "The State of Hockey".
From the BTN schedule for Sat. 2/2/13: I believe the start is 2:30 PM local on Sat. afternoon...
02/02/13 vs. Minnesota Duluth * Ridder Arena 2:30 p.m. CT
Always go by the Gophersports schedule when determining what time to show up:
The way the WCHA standings are shaping up, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Huskies, Huskies, Huskies on back-to-back weekends.Congrats to the Gophers on their record-breaking season! Quite the accomplishment. Seriously, you DON'T have to take the SCSU Huskies seriously at all Feb. 22-23. If I were Frost, this would be a good time to rest all the exceptional talent for the playoffs the following week.
Unfortunately, that would probably just limit the margin of the score. Look forward to see some of my winning friends at the Concrete Center in February.
